The Classico Table Lamp in White by Currey & Company Lighting draws its elegant silhouette from a 19th-century Zanfirico vase crafted by Venetian glassmakers on the island of Murano. Its form reflects the refined artistry and balanced proportions associated with historic glass design, reinterpreted for a timeless lighting accent.
The body is made of white mouth-blown glass formed in two separate pieces and cinched at the center by a band of polished nickel metal. This subtle detail introduces a contemporary contrast while emphasizing the graceful contours of the lamp. An optic crystal base and coordinating finial further enhance the sense of lightness, lending clarity and sophistication to the overall profile.
An empire shade completes the design, softly illuminating the pale glass and allowing its nuanced surface to glow evenly. Because the lamp is crafted from artisanal glass, slight variations in texture and finish may occur, ensuring each piece is unique.
