Classico Table Lamp in Green by Currey & Company Lighting
The Classico Table Lamp in Green by Currey & Company Lighting is inspired by the elegant proportions of a 19th-century Zanfirico vase crafted by Venetian glassmakers on the island of Murano. Its sculptural silhouette reflects the refinement and balance associated with historic glass artistry, reimagined in a richly colored lighting design.
The body is formed from mottled-green mouth-blown glass made in two separate pieces and cinched at the center by a band of metal finished in antique brass. Coordinating metal at the base and finial adds warmth and cohesion, complementing the organic character of the glass.
An empire shade completes the lamp, casting light across the swirling green, yellow, and beige patterning on the surface and enhancing its depth and movement. Because the lamp is made from artisanal glass, subtle variations in color and texture may occur, ensuring each piece is uniquely finished.
