| Comments: | I use this lamp in My living room in an apartment with a popcorn style ceiling. Generally that makes the light difficult to get all around the room but this lamp was really great.Because of it's nice white frosted glass shade it allows a lot of light to travel around the room. The design is fantastic. I'm a big fan of Metropolis the movie and this design really does remind me of that. Some people on Amazon complain about the lights popping out the top, I noticed that too but you just need to slightly bend and adjust the angle, and there's plenty of room to do so without making the bulbs touch the shade.All in all it's a great lamp, packed very well. You may have to slightly bend of shift a few things to make everything 100% even but for the price it's a nice sturdy lamp. Don't be fooled by the small taper at the bottom, the base is heavy enough to compensate and keep it from being knocked over. (By, per-say, a kitty who loves to run around and run into things.)It may not be the best lamp I've ever seen but for the price range it's a great value. |
