Satco Lighting's 18W 4-Foot T8 6500K Recessed Double Contact Base Ballast Bypass LED Bulb delivers high-efficiency performance and crisp daylight white illumination, making it an ideal replacement for 63W fluorescent tubes. Emitting 2500 lumens at a 6500K color temperature, this LED bulb provides bright, high-contrast light suited for inspection areas, warehouses, garages, and commercial environments where maximum visibility is needed. An 80+ CRI ensures consistent and accurate color rendering.
With a 48-inch nominal length and a Recessed Double Contact (RDC) base, this Type B LED lamp operates on 120277V systems and features double-ended wiring for straightforward installation. Ballast bypass wiring eliminates the need for an existing fluorescent ballast, reducing energy consumption and long-term maintenance.
The bulb is constructed from glass and features a PET coating for shatter resistance, ensuring safety in demanding environments. It delivers a 160-degree beam spread for focused, efficient light distribution. Non-dimmable and rated for 50,000 hours of use, it is designed for long-lasting, dependable operation. Suitable for use in enclosed fixtures and damp-rated locations, this LED bulb is not intended for vapor tight fixtures.
