Cove Molding 15-Inch Semi-Flush in Brushed Nickel by Kichler Lighting

My landlord installed, so I can't speak to the ease of that. The lighting area is awesome, and it really splays the light across the ceiling and lifts up the room when I need it. Bear in mind, the attractive slim rods never show to my eyes, as it's mounted to a 9-foot ceiling, so what I see is the glass and little metal-looking knobs. I probably would have gone for a different fixture had I realized this ahead of time, because it looks kind of plain. But, it's still great for the living room's purpose. I look forward to the next time I can work with them again, and I feel good I am buying local.

This is a very attractive ceiling light. I love the style and it is the perfect size for my dressing room. However, the system for hanging it from the ceiling is *amazingly pooly designed*! I had to make two trips to the hardward store for various nuts and bolts to use as workarounds. I have hung half a dozen lights of various sorts, and I have to say that the design here is truly nonsensical.

The most difficult light fixture I have ever installed. Very poor design for easy hanging. And the instructions are not very detailed. Once you get the darn thing mounted to the ceiling which is no easy task, then comes the part of trying to hold the glass dome, get the rods to line up and then attach the metal ball fasteners to the rods. Do yourself a favor and buy a different fixture.
