Inventive Control System

All Modern Forms fans include a standard RF wall remote that can control up to two DC fans on a single circuit. Smart fans may also be controlled through your cell phone or tablet with the Modern Forms App or through their game-changing Wi-Fi touch panel wall control.

The Modern Forms App and wall controllers allow for remote control of your smart fan; Turn your fan on or off, adjust the speed and direction of rotation, dim or brighten lights, set schedules and timers, manage users, and more. If you wish, the Modern Forms App can learn your schedule and preferences over time to automatically set and control your fans, this is called Adaptive Learning Technology.

 

Smart Home Technology

Modern Forms ceiling fans currently sync with Nest, ecobee, Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings. More smart home devices will be added in the future.

When you pair your new smart fan with Nest or ecobee it will coordinate with your HVAC system to maintain your home’s perfect temperature while reducing energy cost. Fans do not change the temperature of your home but they do change the perceived temperature; In the summer months, a fan can make your space feel three degrees cooler. Need to warm up without spending a fortune on heating your home? Reversing the rotation of your fan will force warm air that rises to the ceiling back down into your living space. Your Modern Forms App will take the guesswork out of seasonal fan direction with pre-programmed winter and summer modes.

Use your smart home assistant to program scenes and control your smart fan by voice. Your Modern Forms smart fan will work in unison with all of your smart home components. Imagine climbing into bed at the end of a long day and telling your smart home device to start bedtime – Your blinds close, your thermostat lowers, the lights dim to a warm glow, and your Modern Forms fan turns on creating a subtle, calming breeze.
