These LED recessed lighting kits are perfect for areas needing more illumination while maintaining energy efficiency. They are damp / wet location rated and are suitable for use in showers and under soffits outside.Includes six dimmable LED retrofit modules with white trims that can be used in wet location applications such as showers. It features 30,000 hour life and an output of 1062 lumens, 82 CRI and 3,000K color temperature. Wattage is 15.3 and is dimmable to 5% with most dimmers.The new construction recessed housings features air-tight installation that stops the infiltration and exfiltration of air, which reduces heating and cooling costs. The patented breakaway bars allow tight joist spacing and the bar hangers may be re-positioned 90 degrees. The housings measures 7-1/8 inches in height and 13-1/2-inches in width (reduces to 8-1/2 with breakaway feature) and can be completely covered with insulation.
Approved for damp location use as defined by the National Electric Code. Please consult your local electrical code for details.
