Every item that uses energy created from fossil fuels such as oil or coal to operate produces carbon emissions. Destination Lighting has calculated the average amount of carbon emissions that each of our lighting fixtures releases into the atmosphere on a yearly basis. We call this the "Annual Carbon Footprint" and it is measured in metric tons (MT). According to our partner TerraPass, the term "carbon footprint" is named after carbon dioxide, which is believed to be the principal cause of global warming.

Enjoy safe, environmentally friendly LED lighting in your steps or deck with this 10-light kit. Each LED is encased in a steal frame with 16.5 feet of cable, allowing you to place them in remote locations and under foot traffic. They burn cool to the touch and last 50,000 hours each. The LEDs run on a 12 volt system that joins to an included transformer, which plugs into any outlet. Since the LED cable is only 12 volt, it doesn't need to be buried or wrapped in conduit. A 10-port junction box makes connecting the LED cables to the transformer even easier. Simply plug the LED cables into the junction box, plug the junction box into the transformer, then plug the transformer into an outlet. A photocell sensor makes the system even more environmentally friendly by turning the the lights on at dusk and off at dawn. The kit includes 10 LED lights with 16.5 foot cables, a 10 port junction box, a plug-in transformer and a dusk to dawn sensor. The plug-in transformer can handle up to 50 LED lights, but additional junction boxes are also required. Please contact a Customer Service Representative for details. IP66 approved.
