Every item that uses energy created from fossil fuels such as oil or coal to operate produces carbon emissions. Destination Lighting has calculated the average amount of carbon emissions that each of our lighting fixtures releases into the atmosphere on a yearly basis. We call this the "Annual Carbon Footprint" and it is measured in metric tons (MT). According to our partner TerraPass, the term "carbon footprint" is named after carbon dioxide, which is believed to be the principal cause of global warming.

This low-voltage recessed lighting kit features 4-inch insulation-ready housing and a downlight cone with 35-degree vertical adjustment, a glare-reducing black Alzak® finish and white outside trim. The housing can be completely covered with insulation. It is air-tight which reduces heating and cooling costs. It comes with a thermally protected magnetic transformer. The hangers are expandable up to 25 inches. This kit accepts a single 50-watt MR16 halogen bulb.
Alzak® is an anodized, hand-polished aluminum reflector with superior glare reduction.
