8-Inch Oval Bulkhead Light

Stainless steel construction with frosted glass

This tough, marine-style light is rated for outdoor use, yet attractive enough to feature indoors as well. The stainless steel construction will withstand extreme weather conditions. The bulb is protected by thick frosted glass and a stainless steel cage. It can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. It takes a single, 60-watt bulb, which provides ideal illumination for any space. Its practical style and superb craftsmanship, make it an easy choice.

Approved for damp location use as defined by the National Electric Code. Please consult your local electrical code for details.

Replaced a similar shape fixture in my bathroom / shower that was in white finish with this one in Stainless to match new plumbing fixtures. Overall quality of construction of this is much nicer, and the price vs quality represents an appropriate value. Destination Lighting was easy to deal with on this web order.

Used for exterior lighting on a beach home. Looks and works great. Wish it could take a lorger bulb, though. (Using 60 watt equivalent CFL.)

I installed this light in a covered porch three blocks off the beach. It began to rust in three months; one year later it is solid rust. This is obviously made with a very poor quality of stainless steel. This light would be fine indoors. I learned you get what you pay for when it comes to outdoor stainless steel lights. All of the others on the market cost twice as much as these.

This fixture is so heavy and durable, I was very, very impressed. It looks nice, too. I am using it in my son's room, which is a nautical motif, over his loft bed. The electrician wanted a cage light so that there would be no chance of covers catching on fire. I haven't installed it yet, as we are doing a big remodel.

My son's bedroom is nautical. I bought the cage light for over his loft bed. (I'm also getting matching pendants for over his desk and matching wall scounces to flank his sink.) The electrician wanted a cage light to make sure there was no chance of catching his bedding on fire. This fixture is a very heavy, sturdy fixture. I'm quite happy with it!
